Davis Yoder Realty Group has helped over 1600 families find the perfect home in the Truckee-Tahoe area. Their website reflects their commitment and expertise in the real estate world. Offering visiting clients a huge range of features to take advantage of was challenging to accomplish while maintaining an elegant and usable format.

Despite these challenges, Truckeeinfo.com continues to be useful to hundreds of visitors a month. Built with a PHP MYSQL backend and XHTML CSS frontend this website is also a joy to maintain and update.

Craigslist Campaign

Marketing is one of the best ways to reach out to potential customers. High Sierra Painting came to Soggy Cow Designs wanting to expand their marketing strategy beyond its yearly print advertisements. One of the owners wanted to advertise on craigslist.com and several other website's.

The design that was used was based on the two owners vision of their company, utilizing the most modern techniques with a commitment to quality.

High Sierra Painting Summer Ad Campaign

This advertisement was published in the Northwoods magazine and distributed to over five thousand households in Tahoe-Donner.

High Sierra Painting Yearly Postcard

Every spring 5000, 4" x 6" postcards are sent out to potential clients in the Truckee-Tahoe area. For the past three years Soggy Cow Designs has arranged every aspect of this mass mailer from design, to printing, to the acquiring of a mailing list.

Kenn Rieders MBA Tax Sierra Sun Ad

Kenn Rieders has been preparing taxes since he was ten years old. In his Ad for the local newspaper he wanted to promote a fun and forward moving feel for the otherwise harsh and cold "chore" of preparing taxes.

The result is what you can see at left, a professional yet fun design that attracts the eye of many.

Client Management Solution High Sierra Painting

My first large scale database-centric project for this local painting company provides more efficient inter-office and client communication. A secure login system allows clients to view pictures of work completed, print their contract and view notes directly from the High Sierra Painting office. An administration login allows private notes to be shared about the client and a search feature aids finding clients based on a variety of terms.

Davis Yoder Realty Group Email Application

This online web-based email application creates professional custom emails outlining property details that then can be sent to other agents. Integrated into the application is a photo-upload and tracking system to gauge popularity of certain properties in the Truckee-Tahoe area. This application received excellent feedback from other agents as it pulls all the important details of a particular property into an email which can be easily viewed at a realtors leisure.

Homes For Sale Dynamic Listing Application

Created to replace a dated and at times non-working ASP based application the new listing management system for Davis Yoder Group utilized an easy to use interface to increase productivity. A security system kept visitors from changing the listing details without proper credentials.

This project was an exercise in creating an efficient, productive and usable interface for both visitors and employees/users alike.

Task Manager

A task manager I created to increase my personal productivity. Uses a color based priority system to ensure projects get completed on schedule.

Searchable Homes For Sale Map

Maintaining usable formats for clients who wish to sell or purchase property is one of my main jobs at Davis Yoder Group. The flash based searchable map is one of the innovative formats integrated into the Davis Yoder Group's website to move this team of realtors ever forward in the twenty-first century.

NoodleDude.com Website

Let's be honest... Taxes are NOT fun. So I was presented with quite a challenge when Kenn Rieders came to me wanting a "fun" tax website. Staying true with his overall look and branding, I was able to create a fun yet professional tax site that is centered on an easy to use tax fee calculator.

Utilizing copious amounts of javascript and integrating design and functionallity into an easy to use package this website will be useful to his clients for years to come.
